Roon close itself randomly

Description Of Issue

Roon close itself randomly between add music to library. I tried reinstall, create new library, change computer. It’s still close itself. please help.

You could supply more info about the system specs and connection to the network plus where your music is located. This will help support and others to assist you better.

How is Roon closing, do you see any error messages?
Can you send me a copy of your logs by using these instructions?

Thank you for sending the logs over, I took a look through them but I am not noticing any errors in the logs. Do you see any Windows error when the issue occurs?

How did you try a reinstall, did you clear out the previous Roon database folder? Please give these steps a try:

  • Make a Backup of your current Roon Database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
