Roon core cannot find players or applets after changing core name from iMac (ref#D9GRKP)

I just migrated to new mac studio from iMac.

Using an Apple migration tool to move Roon can cause failures. As noted in this post:

@KURT_SMITH, welcome to the Community. Just a fellow user here, but Roon cannot be migrated from one Mac to another using Apple’s Migration Assistant. Is your 2014 Mac mini still available from which to make a backup of your database from within Roon? If so, I believe you will need to delete Roon from your M1 mini and follow the guidelines below on migrating your Core to the M1 mini:

Try uninstalling Roon completely on the new Mac*. Download the latest from Roon and install that. Then restore a backup.

Help needed removing Roon Core artifacts from iMac

Have you removed Roon from the Applications folder? If not, open Finder and click on the iMac under Locations, then navigate to macOS, followed by Applications. Right-click on the Roon icon, and select Move to Bin. Next, go to the Finder Go menu, and select Library. Now delete the Roon and RAAT folders. This should have completely removed Roon. Kindly note that this is irreversible, so be certain you want to take this action. It may be necessary to restart the iMac.

As always “good” backups are need prior to doing this stuff. And by “good”, a backup that has been tested using a restore.
