Description of Issue

I am running Roon Core in my new macbook pro (Big Sur OS) and it can’t find the roon ready streamer (Auralic Aries G2.1) within the same network. I checked and using a web console I was able to control the G2.1 streamer from my mac. So the network has no issue.

Also, using the same setup, if I use another macbook pro running High Sierra OS, it works fine. How can I debug the issue so the roon core also works in my new macbook pro? Thanks.

anybody can help me with the issue? thanks.

Hi @Yuheng_Du, we’re so sorry that it took us a while to respond! We wanted to check in and see if you were still having trouble with connecting the Aries to the new Mac?

If so, can you please first confirm that the Auralic device is updated to the most recent firmware?

Can you please also check to see if Roon is allowed past your MacOS firewall by using these instructions?

Thanks!
