The Roon Core running on the iPad (ip address 192.168.0.154) can not find the Roon Server running on the microRendu (ip address 192.168.0.161).

Both TIDAL and Qobuz are running on the miccroRendu and are accessible on the LUMIN app on the iPad, so I am stumped by this problem.

Sorry, but you can’t run Core on an iPad. It must be somewhere else.

Do you mean a Surface Pro, maybe?

Roon Server can’t run on a mRendu. Do you mean Roon Bridge, maybe?

As mentioned, Roon Server and Roon Core are the same. iPad’s run Roon Remote (or Roon client). The microRendu only runs Roon Endpoint Software or RoonBridge (definitely not the Server).

RoonServer runs on a full PC, either Windows, Mac, or Linux based. Which machine is running the RoonServer?

It sounds like you have a microRendu plugged into PS Audio, this would be an endpoint. You have Roon Remote on your iPad, this is used to control a server.

Looking back at previous posts, is your Core still the HPEnvy laptop? If so, then your chain would be…

HPEnvy (or other PC running RoonServer) > ethernet> switch>ethernet>microRendu>usb>PSAudio.

Hi @Claus_Jensen1,

The microRendu should be your Roon endpoint, but not your Roon Core. Can you confirm which machine you’re using as your Core? If you reboot this Core is there any change?

Sorry, I should have said: the Roon APP running on the iPad.

OK - I understand the setupbetter.

I now have the Roon Core installed and running on a Windows laptop.

The Roon Ready Version 1.1.33 is installed and running on my microRendu.

The Roon IOS App is installed and running on my iPad.

The remaining problem is that the only Output is on the Windows laptop.

How do I get the Output directed to my ENDPOINT,i.e. the microRendu and the Associated USB DAC?

Did you “enable” the endpoint?

Tom,

The FAQ enabled me to solve the problem.

Thank you!
