Roon core times out and goes to sleep - how to make it sticky?

I have a very simple setup - Roon core on an imac 27" which hosts the entire CD collection of over 1000 albums - all in ALAC. the remote Roon client runs on a Mac Mini connected to my big screen TV and an audiophile DAC that feeds my old school audiophile setup (Conrad Johnson tube preamp, Bedini power amp, Joseph Audio speakers). Sounds great.

The problem is that the Roon core times out and goes to sleep. The client of course complains and I have to change rooms to tickle the Roon core back into action.

How do I make the Roon core stay active persistently?

Check the iMac’s sleep settings.
