Okay, thx I started a fresh database. Now it has been more stable, I have now run Roon for 10 days and just had my first issue with database. Restore works fine. So it is better but not optimal…

Most Roon users’ database remain error free for years (if not indefinitely), so if yours is introducing corruption after just 10 days it might be worth investigating further. Two common causes, as I understand it, are power fluctuations and faulty hard drives. It may well be caused by something else, but I’d definitely suggest running a check on your hard drive.

This is very possibly a hardware issue, DaveN is correct. Corruption shouldn’t occur after starting fresh, especially after only 10 days. I too suggest checking the hard drive for faults and running Memtest86 for 24 hours: MemTest86 - Creating a MemTest86 bootable USB Flash drive in Linux/Mac
