It may well be unrelated but is there a reason you are not using the current Sonoma 14.4.1? It does have a wide range of security updates, and one would guess that Roon tests on current macOS versions.

Thanks for taking the time to write in, and it’s great to see you on community again - although I do apologize its an issue that prompted your recent post.

Let me know if you’re able to give @Suedkiez’s suggestion a try. If updating your OS doesn’t help, let’s refresh your Mac remote database:

  • Create a Backup of your current database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
  • Verify if the issue persists on a fresh database before restoring the backup
