Roon crashing when selecting HQPlayer zone on PC

Roon won’t start.
Roon Rock on Intel Nuc 8i3 (SSD+HDD).
Contol - on Mac Pro 3.1 OS 10.13.5.
Intel Rock and Mac pro connected to a Cisco router with a cable.
Everything worked fine today.
After updating on all devices, Roon on Mac - the launch window appears and disappears.
Roon on iPhone - work normal.
Reboot Mac Pro, reinstalled the Roon app - same mistake.

The tambourine dance continues. Roon was able to establish. But when you select the HQPlayer audio zone on the computer, Roon crashes.

Hi @Eugeny_Shentsov ,

Can you please reproduce the issue and then access the Roon logs on the affected Mac Pro using these instructions and upload a set here?

Thanks!

Hi @Eugeny_Shentsov ,

Thanks for uploading the Roon logs. Unfortunately, there were not any clues contained in them.

Since the Mac is only a Remote and not the Core, I suggest you try a full reinstall Roon on the Mac, you can use these instructions:

  • Create a Backup of your current database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location (on the Mac under ~Library)
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
  • Connect to previous Core
