I am using RopieeeXL with a Hifiberry AMP+ HAT for streaming in a few areas of the house e.g. Garage. I think that my Roon device volume affects my Spotify volume. i.e. if I reduce the device volume to 25% when playing via Roon, the max volume of my subsequent Spotify connect stream can only be 25% (of the device’s max volume.
Therefore I have to use DSP volume control on Roon to allow “normal” volume control with Spotify connect.
Is this just me?
