My Roon server runs on a SmallGreen Computer sonicTransporter i7 (Gen 3).
The operating system is a Sonicorbiter Operating System Version 2.9.
A Samsung SSD 870 is installed in the server.
After a system update, the music library suddenly became inaccessible.
The diagnostic page of sonicTransporter shows:
- /dev/sda1 exists with a 7.3T ext4 partition
- The partition does not appear in Disk Usage – it is simply not mounted
- dmesg shows no errors related to /dev/sda
According to Andrew Gill of SmallGreen Computer, the only solution is to reformat the Samsung!
Does anyone have a better idea?
