Roon display shows "ROON" on black screen instead of Now Playing info (ref#7BWUJU)

When I try to connect a display using the IP address in a web browser, I see only "ROON" on a black screen, not Now Playing info

Describe your network setup

Internet provider is Frontier. Router is eero mesh wifi system. Internet comes into my listening room via an eero extender, and I run ethernet out of the eero extender into my Roon core.

Have you activated the display in the settings of your endpoint?

I never have seen that “DISPLAY NOW” with the screen icon next to any of my zones. I know that’s how it’s supposed to look, but not on my system. When I paste the display URL into a device, I see what’s on this screenshot.

You need to click on the little monitor in the Roon app which will bring you to the view in my previous post.
