Arris Cable Modem -> Google Wifi Router ->Netgear Switch

Switch has sonicTransport and NAS connected via CAT6A

sonicTransport and NAS have reserved IPs

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

Bluesound Node2 (wireless)

There is a setting for periodic scanning as many Nas do not work for auto discovery, yours appears to be one of them.

Hi @Nathan_Freedenberg,

The automatic scan when new media is added to a NAS device is dependent on the NAS properly notifying Roon that there has been a change over the network. Unfortunately we’ve found that many NAS devices aren’t reliable at properly notifying Roon.

The best option is to set the Automatic Rescan Interval to whatever setting works best for you.
