Hi, since today Roon is not showing my album covers and the no other pictures as well are shown.

I am Running my Roon core on a Nucleus Plus.
The covers were shown until today morning…

Can you please help?

There are several things you could try:

  • clear your image cache, via settings → setup
  • Clear your Roon Server cache, via the web interface of your Nucleus… type in the IP address of your Roon Server in a browser and you’ll see this menu
  • if it doesn’t work: restart everything: your Roon Server, your control devices, your router etc.

Thank you for the answer.
I did as you suggest.
Only deleting the cache on my Roon iPhone App does not help. So I restarted my Nucleus Plus. This does not help too. And after restart of my Router, the album cover does still not appear.

Luckily it are only the covers and I am still able to listening my music.

Or maybe I just have to wait until the covers are restored after deleting the cache. How long could it take to restore my album covers?

They should pop up within minutes, I would think. Strange that this didn’t work for you. Maybe @support can help…

Hi @metadata_support , my Roon App on my iPhone stoped to show any pictures since yesterday. No album covers and no pictures of Artists etc…

I already deleted my cache, but no success.
I restarted my Nucleus Server, but no success.
I restarted my router, but no success.
I uninstalled the Roon App on my iPhone and reinstalled it again, but no success…

My Nucleus Plus is running with Roon Server Version 2.0 (build 1490)
My iPhone has iOS Version 18.2.

Please let me know, if you have solutions to solve this.

Hi, it seems to be related to my VPN settings on my iPhone.
If VPN is disabled, then I can see all Album Covers.

With VPN activated they disappear.

Hi @Trompetfish,

VPNs will often selectively block certain background services with Roon. We recommend keeping them deactivated when the device is used as a Roon controller.
