Roon doesn't recognize A1, A2, B1, B2, etc. track numbers

Hi all,

I have dozens of vinyl rips where the tracks are not the normal “01, 02, 03” but they are “A1, A2, B1, B2”.

I just discovered that Roon mess up them, it doesn’t sort the tracks in the right order.

There’s a way to make him to recognize that kind of track numbers? How do you do in such occasions?

Hi @RiseFall123,

The best option here is likely to update the tracks to be numbered in the standard method (01, 02, 03…).

Alternatively, you can manually edit the track order in Roon by choosing Edit > Fix Track Grouping as seen below.

I will surely manual edit the tag tracks and then I will reanalyze the album.

I thought Roon could recognize letters and numbers.

Thank you.
