Roon doesnt start, but it shows up in task manager for a moment
There are crashes in Event Viewer

Have you set up firewall exceptions yet?

My firewall is completely turned off (both laptop and router)
And as you can see logs say there is something wrong with uxtheme.dll
It was working like a week ago, then something happened (no idea what) and it stopped working,
I would like to get developer opinion on this, if this is possible in this forum

Have you deinstalled and reinstalled?

yes of course, i also completely wiped any traces of roon in registry/files

Uxtheme is a windows dll and nothing to do with Roon. Could mean a virus, registry corruption or even hardware failure.

yes i know, i did system files integrity check it didnt do anything to uxthemes, i also reinstalled all .NET packages, and it didnt work

Have you updated the graphics driver from asus not windows update.

i think i might have an idea what happened, i remember pressing pressing “update” in roon and it didnt start up after that and i thought yeah whatever, lets do it later
i was already on 2.0 at that time, so its minor version of 2.0

Looks like I found a fix after all
I had to turn off all Exploit Protection settings in Windows Security (for whatever reason)
Except I cant turn off Control Flow Guard cuz its being used by Valorant anticheat
But it works now and Im happy
