Description of Issue

roon starts up, immediately presents the spinning wheel of death.

note that i have no problems running roon on other macs.

i’ve reported this before, it was never resolved.

Try renaming/deleting the Roon library, and relaunching:

  1. Open Finder and click Go in the top bar
  2. Hold down the Option key to unhide Library, click it to open
  3. Rename (or delete) the “Roon” folder
