Describe the issue

Roon does not connect anymore to my Cambridge Azur 851N by filaire network, even after rebooting the Cambridge, the computer, Roon. The same yesterday, but finally Roon found the Cambridge after rebooting the computer

Describe your network setup

Imac M1 16Go, Sequoia 15.0.1 connected directly to the router (no change since several months, Fritzbox!). The Cambridge audio is connected via filaire RJ45 through one switch Netgear GS108E. The only recent change was the upgrade of Mac OS to Sequoia 15.01.1 (I'm not sure that I've listen to music since that change ?? probably only once or twice).

Can you find the 851N with any other network device?
Is it on the same subnet as your Roon Server (are the first three parts of their IP addresses the same, like 192.168.0.aaa and 192.168.0.bbb)?
Is the network cable or connection faulty? Maybe try another one…?

Hello
From the Cambridge I can read the library (on a Synology in another room). From Roon too.

Concerning the subnet, only the three last numbers are different, the three first part are the same.
If it can help you… Roon seems also to have difficulties finding the Roon server (which is on the same computer). I have to disconnect and reconnect (find another Roon Server, yes, then reconnect ) to be able to use Roon. Only since recently.

And finally, Roon ARC is “not ready” with an error message. Actually this is the case since a long time, I have never be able to use Roon ARC :
{
“ipv4_connectivity”: {“status”:“NetworkError”,“status_code”:504,“error”:“error: Error: ETIMEDOUT, response code: undefined, body: undefined connected? undefined”},
“external_ip”: {“actual_external_ip”:“86.aaa.bbb.ccc”,“actual_external_ipv6”:“null”,“router_external_ip”:“null”},
“natpmp_autoconfig”: {“status”:“NotFound”},
“upnp_autoconfig”: {“status”:“NotFound”}
}

There is a configuration issue that I don’t understand…

Thank you.
Lionel

There is a known issue with Sequoia and Roon Labs are investigating. See:

Your Roon ARC issue has a different cause. Please open a separate support request for this so that the support team can track it properly and respond.

ok Thank you.
by switching off and on local network after rebooting Roon, it can see the 851N
I will to that.
Thank you and we wait for the resolution of the bug.
Concerning Roon ARC, I will do what you’ve proposed.
thank’s
