Hello everyone. I have a question: does anyone know when we can expect Roon for the Arcam SA45?
There is a thread for this:

Unfortunately, I already own this device… and unfortunately I have conflicting feelings, on the one hand, it is a phenomenal sound equipment, on the other hand, a marketing blowout, full of errors in the software. It is hard to believe that such an unfinished product can be released into the market and called it a flagship
@Piotr_Malaszewski SA45 should be Roon Ready now, please share signal path and your feedback. Are you experiencing any issues with it like freezing/crashing which would require power cycling the amp.
Unfortunately, RoonRedy for the SA45 is still just a marketing promise. Arcam has not yet completed certification of this device for RoonRedy access. The situation is similar with DIRAC – the SA45 is not officially listed on the Dirac website, it is impossible to confirm the license available with this device at the time of purchase, and it is not possible to extend it on the Dirac website. The firmware is relatively stable, but very disappointing in terms of usability. For example, the beautiful front panel only displays six pre-configured settings, but these can only be radio stations and, interestingly, shortcuts to playlists on… (*and here’s the surprise) Spotify. And what about truly interesting high-resolution streaming services? Another example: the audio sources available from the device menu once again only include Spotify. This doesn’t make sense to me, but perhaps Arcam prioritizes streaming quality over others.
Another problem is the mobile app. I suggest comparing it to any other desktop app from another manufacturer. It looks like a poor version from the 1980s. Functionality is currently limited to minimal.
The SA45 is Roon ready since yesterday… it is also listed on Roons website: Roon Ready Devices - Compatible Audio Equipment
If it’s not yet available for you, try power cycling your amp.
As for Dirac: the SA45 (and SA35) have a full license, so nothing more you can buy from Diracs website. The Dirac implementation is very buggy at the moment, I am told an update for the SA35/SA45 is eminent.
Thank you for your feedback, I wish that functionality/features match its high quality sound and look. It seems that audio equipment from another Cambridge based manufacturer could be better a choice.
Unfortunately it is different, my SA45 still does not have RoonReady function active.
I reckon it will be very soon then.
The long-awaited moment has finally arrived – RoonReady is working on my SA45.
It all sounds phenomenal…
