Roon freezes after waking from sleep on Windows 11 (ref#NGK36O)

Hey @src01,

Thanks for the update! As a next step, could you please reproduce the issue and share a specific date and time? From there, our team will review a fresh diagnostic report for additional investigation. :+1:

Sure, I can make it happen on demand by simply opening Roon. Putting my PC to sleep. And then waking up the PC. Date and Time: Oct 2, 2024 1:52-1:53 PM Eastern Daylight Time.

Hi @src01,

Our servers are having difficulty reaching the Windows Roon instance to request logs.

Are you able to follow the steps here on that machine to locate the Roon folder and compress (.zip) the logs folder contained within? Please upload it here at your convenience: Roon Log Uploader

Thank you again for your patience.

Hi, you did not provide instructions. Also, the upload site you linked to does not allow for uploading.

Hi @src01,
Sorry about the confusion. You can use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader. This link should allow you to upload.

I have uploaded the compressed Logs directory.

Hey @src01,

As a quick side test, what happens if you temporarily disable your windows firewall? Are you still able to reproduce the issue?

We’ll be on standby for your results :+1:

The problem persists with Windows firewall disabled.

Thanks for giving that a try! We’ll need to sync with the development team for further insight into your issue, and we’ll follow up with more information after that. Thanks for your patience in the meantime!

Hey @src01,

Thanks for your patience!

For next steps, our development team is requesting a specific process performed within your setup:

Start roon, wait 5 minutes, and then reproduce the bug and share another specific date and time - wait another 5 minutes after reproducing the problem before closing Roon.

With that, could you please also upload a copy of the windows crash report? You can upload it here.

Thank you!
