There’s a bug in the random view that crashes the client: When I start typing to search like in the other views, roon (on Mac) quits. Once I switch to artist sort it’s working as intended again.

I can confirm this issue. I go to Album view on my iPad, select “Random” sorting, and if I type a character, the iPad client crashes. Note that if I first hit the loupe to search I can type without the client crashing. Effectively, the client on the iPad is not expecting anything from the keyboard when it crashes - other that possibly a space bar signal to stop/start playback. When the client is expecting input such as typing something for the filter, the client does not crash.

Thanks for the clear report and the extra detail from @miguelito. We were able to reproduce this from the steps you provided, and we’ve escalated it to Development.

We’ll keep an eye on it from here and follow up if we have anything new to share.

I see the mac client has been fixed. Is there an updated iOS app in the approval process? Thx.
