Consistently repeatable after resetting PC?

Where is your library located? PC HD/SSD? NAS? Or streaming service?

not sure if this is relevant, when I log onto my account it shows 2 sessions, one 12hrs ago and one more recent (8 mins). When I end the task using task manager, my account still shows two active sessions. I cancelled the oldest session, and ended the task again and the account still shows one active session with the clock timer still counting up.

repeatedly. I have to delete the app and reload after Laptop reboot. When I reinstall it works ok until I shut the laptop down. After reboot it hangs. I followed the delete app and reinstall process now 4 times. The library is on my own NAS. I check the IP addresses and they remain the same and I can access the folders directly from file explorer. Roon worked perfectly during the trial two weeks, it seems to have started hanging when I started paying for it, tho logically this should have nothing to do with it.

i may have found the issue?. I was loading Roon on an external monitor via NVIDIA hdmi port. I disconnected the external monitors and loaded Roon on my laptop screen and it worked, and stayed stable for 3 days.

I am using the Game Ready Driver Version 536.99 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti .

Is this a known problem?

Hey @pxtcred,

Thanks for taking the time to write in!

This isn’t a known problem, but your findings are interesting. I’d be curious to see if this is a GPU-related issue.

As a next step in testing, can you try changing the graphics settings in Roon to see if that alters behavior at all.

Specifically, I would test out changing some of the preferences in the screenshot below:

I’ll be on standby for your reply! :+1:

how do I get to this screen?

I have to set it up like this to make the UI work (Dell G7 as roon remote):

This is since latest update.

@pxtcred Open windows settings, navigate to “System > Display > Graphics” and add roon to the list. Then you can open this “graphics preference” screen.

Thanks Guys. I made the requested change. After a reboot Roon loaded quickly without hanging. I’ll be around at home for the next week or so . I will continue to monitor and update this thread if anything happens. Thanks Paul
