Does the application display any errors or messages? How does it manifest itself, exactly? What does “It has simply stopped streaming” mean?
What does the Devialet display show?
Did you even try to unplug Devialet from the mains (not just turn off from remote)?
Did the given suggestions make any difference?
And as also asked by Daniel, what means stopped playback of Tidal exactly? Does for example streaming from a NAS still work (if in your system setup of course) Please more info on your system.
I run two 220’s (440), NUC, NAS, all connected via ethernet CAT7 with Telegartner connectors. Your problem sounds like what I had at a certain moment years ago. From one moment to the other, no more streaming. When I checked the network settings of the Dev I noticed the IP addresses were going “on and off” on the Devialet display. Nothing broken fortunately, just ip conflict. Gave all network stuff a fixed ip and all was solved. Never had any (hard ware) problems with the Devialets, not with the Aurender or the NUC with Rock. Just Roon ………
It did help a lot. I completely unplugged the 220, rebooted everything, reinstalled the roon remotes and got it working on my ipad but not oddly on my iphone, although the settings on both devices appear to be identical. Forgive me, I am not very technical. What happened was that although my remotes appeared to be connected to the core and the devialet – the IP addresses matched in all cases – and the music appeared to be playing, for some reason last night simply speaking no music emanated, though the devialet was set on roon ready. As I said, today the problem is gone at least on my ipad, though I experience exactly the same issue with my iphone. So, I can live with that and maybe the problem will resolve at some point.
