Roon homepage and daily mixes loading slowly or not at all (ref#43CSSR)

Thanks for writing in and sharing your report! The good news here is that our team is actively investigating what might be going on behind the scenes.

In the meantime, if you could please safely stop Roon Server and then reboot both your server machine and Roon remotes, let me know if that changes any behavior.

Benjamin, I’ve done that numerous times over the past few days. No change. I installed the software package that came today and still no change. Also numerous people on the Roon forum and on the Facebook Roon Fanatics page report the same problem. Music plays well but I have noticed that recently when I ask Roon to play music and maybe add an album, it will give me a message that Qobuz or content is loading slowly. I have a small library and mostly use Qobuz with a few DSD albums.

Saturday morning. It now appears that along with Roon daily mixes New Releases is not loading either. Roon radio seems to be affected as well. Qobuzis my streaming sevice.

Feb,15th. Everything seems to be loading, but still slowly. My iPad seems to loose my core from time to time. Playlist stops playing randomly and shows nothing playing.

I doubt that this has anything to do with the cloud issues, probably something that you should look into separately. → SupportGet Help

I disagree. I’ve had nothing but problems since the last now 2 updates. Just started to play a daily mix on random and it played 1 track and stopped playing. I’ve never had problems like this before. Strong wifi and wired network.

Homepage still won’t completely load. Cleared image cache, restarted Roon server, rebooted system. All apps updated. I think that the homepage trying to load in the background is affecting playback.

Nothing below Roon mixes will load. I just have the loading logo symbol.

I said that local core connection problems are probably unrelated to the current cloud problems. That’s not the same as the last two updates. The cloud problems started a few days ago, so if your problems started two updates ago, they probably preceded the current cloud problems.

Whatever I think and whether you agree or not, the best course of action is still to open a support case to actually figure out what’s wrong.
