Roon keeps crashing immediately upon opening it.

Sorry for the delay in getting to your thread! I wanted to check in and see how things are going, and if you’re still not able to get Roon to open?

Lets start with a fresh database and see if that may help:

  • Create a Backup of your current database (if you don’t have a recent backup)
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
  • Verify if the issue persists on a fresh database before restoring the backup
