Roon is noticeably slower with build 1211 - large library

Same issue of the Roon update to Build 1211, my configuration is:

Intel(R) Xeon CPU E5-2660@2.20GHZ 16 Core(s) 32 thread(s)
Physical Memory(RAM) 48GB
Disk Space: 869GB
NIC: 10G

Tracks: 214990
Albums: 21411

This version is not acceptable and less test, and it is super super super slow!

@Tony_Ma, please open your own #support thread. Thanks.

it is super super super slow!

  • Open roon, takes more than minutes to load all the context
  • Searching takes couple minutes
  • Click Albums, load the page takes minutes
  • Click Home, load the page takes minutes.
It is not acceptable and useless. Before update, everything is good.

Hi @Tony_Ma,

Are you still experiencing slow performance in Roon on the latest build?

Investigating diagnostics from your account, there’s evidence of downstream filtering in your network. It’s probably worth verifying that you’ve added the correct exceptions to your Windows Firewall, first off.

Do you have a VPN active on this network, or any enterprise-grade security?

Lastly, is this Core hardwired via internet to your Netgear router, and do you have any other networking equipment in your LAN? In particular, managed switches and access points are known to cause performance issues.

We’ll keep a close lookout for your response to promptly follow up with next steps. Thank you again for your patience.
