Description of Issue
After the last update today impossible for Nucleus to find the server.
The Support team of Roon Labs is four people, and they operate a queue system. It would seem that your issue has not yet reached the head of their queue.
In the meantime can we clarify something?
Does this mean that one unit of the TL-WPA8631P system is hardwired to your SFR modem/router, and the Nucleus is hardwired to another unit? So you are using ethernet over your powerlines?
The quality of Ethernet Over Power solutions varies quite a bit, and generally it will be less reliable than Ethernet. There are times it can work well, but if you’re having a problem and powerline ethernet is involved, we recommend temporarily replacing the ethernet over power connection with a real ethernet cable to see if things improve.
Is it possible to do this? Use an actual ethernet cable between the Nucleus and the SFR modem/router as a test?
There appear to be two live instances of RoonServer pinging our servers from your account. Since only one RoonServer instance can be active on a license, I’d verify you haven’t inadvertently installed RoonServer instead of Roon Remote on one of your PC, Mac, or Linux machines elsewhere in your setup.
Can you please share a screenshot of the screen you see when you first sign into Roon? Are there two RoonServers listed?
Good day,
Thanks for your answer.
It is always impossible to connect by Nucleus+ since the last update.
On my iPhone, I have tried to connect with an other server.
Please see attached picture.
This one “THIERRY-PC” was used before having my Nucleus.
Roon is installed on my Windows11 PC but only as a remote.
For some reason, your Nucleus is not showing up alongside the Roon Server on THIERRY-PC for you to be able to choose it.
What happens if you click on the “Configurer les périphériques Roon OS…” link - do you see the IP address of your Nucleus, and is it in the same IP subnet as your iPhone?
Apologies for the slow response here. Since you are not seeing anything on the HDMI output, we are most likely dealing with hardware failure and will need to begin an RMA.
I checked your account and it appears that you are located outside the United States, so in this case, it is best to reach out to the Roon dealer where you purchased the unit to inform them of these issues.
Then your dealer would communicate with our local area Roon distributor for any needed repairs. If you or your dealer have any questions, please let us know.
