Roon is simply unusable for classical collectors

It was a design decision, not an oversight. And I believe that will not change any time soon. See for instance this post:

I am obviously not our CEO, but I am the CTO, and I am responsible for the product as well as the support team, and I am the person best qualified to address your concerns. The Genre Settings to “NOT Use Roon’s Genres” does not work in my system. Roon still keeps showing me Roon’s genres. Is that a bug or is it to do with my system?
