Description of Issue
Ever since the most recent software update, Roon occasionally stops playback saying something about a networking/Tidal issue. I was using wifi so plugged in ethernet, and the issue still persists. My internet speed is just under 200Mbps so no speed problems. I have had ZERO problems before this update.
Thank you for your report and we’re sorry for the delay. There are a few questions that will help differentiate between a network-related playback failure event and a device-specific failure.
How many Zones are affected by this issue, and what endpoints are you using? Do you encounter this issue using the system output of the Windows laptop?
Do you encounter these failures with only certain file types or formats? What about when DSP is disabled?
Lastly, do you have any managed switches, second routers, or VPNs active in this setup?
