I realize you may not have the Denon 8500H anymore, but in case you do, we’ve just released Roon 1.7 (Build 500) which includes changes that should improve the pause command behavior. Please give it this a try and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the notification. I do have the Denon 8500 with the zone setup as before but I use the HDMI connection from the NUC/Rock now. I will try that zone after I upgrade to 1.7 and let you know how it works.

Hi @noris,

The on TV screen pause button does work now after the 1.7 upgrade. The down side to pausing it is the Denon switches to another screen with no signal coming through. Need to hit play from Roon Remote. But it does work. I’m sure that is the receiver taking action and not something Roon can control, or need to.

Great job on the 1.7 upgrade by the way. I decided to pass on the 1.7 feedback post with all the negativity. All seems good to me.
