@Brian_Saul, this is nornal behavior on a mobile or tablet device. The Roon endpoint in this case is the iPad, and you are connecting the iPad to the K9 via the iPad’s system output.
Hi Robert, thanks for responding. I don’t think the iPad is enable in Roon settings. I can’t seem to get into Roons settings on this iPad. I have always used the iPad as a controller for my home hifi Dac.
Hi @Brian_Saul,
Thanks for writing in to let us know about this issue.
If you click on the burger menu (i.e. the three lines in the upper left corner of the app) and then click the gear icon in the menu that opens are you able to access the settings?
@Brian_Saul, try rebooting your Roon Server. I have an older iPad (2016 Pro) that requires a Roon Server reboot every once in awhile. My M2 iPad Pro runs Roon fine, but the older iPad needs a server, not iPad, reboot to connect (it’s weird but I live with it).
I discovered the issue. My Roon server was working intermittently. I am in Mexico and sometimes the internet goes out… normally it’s fantastic. Not so much today.
Thanks for the help.
