· I'm having trouble with my DAC, speakers, streamer, etc.

What best describes the issue with your audio device?

· My device used to show up in Settings > Audio, now it's gone

Describe the issue

EarMen Tradutto DAC was working perfectly with Roon. Now Roon wont recognize it.

Running Latest Roon version on MacBook Air M1. Astell and Kern SE300 is recognized and plays with Roon no problem throughout wireless Roon ready. Perhaps someone else has also recently seen an issue with this DAC/company? Does it need an update?

Macbook recognized Tradutto itself with two different USB cables, so the issue is in Roon somehow.

SOLVED.

Required Full Reboot of my Mac. For some reason the USB handshake was not working even after several restarts of Roon. Hopefully it’s not required very often, but all the more reason to use a dedicated Roon server.
