I have sent the cable back where he is going to download Roon and sort it out himself, i will post the results here, thanks

I would be utterly astounded if it’s anything to do with Roon. This is a physical networking problem at the bottom layer of the OSI model.

@joel, given that he can’t change Roon but can change the cable, my guess is he’s going to fix the cable.
