Roon Nucleus as end point suddenly failing

Content you’re reporting an issue with

I’ve been using a Roon Nucleus as an endpoint for a few years, no trouble. But in the last month or so after latest Roon update the Nucleus keeps disappearing off my system. I get the message to select a source. Then I have to go into settings and it simply isnt there. Rebooting sometimes brings it back, sometimes not. The whole time it continues to send a signal to my DAC which shows it ready to play but i cant control it. Whats wrong?

Have you made any edits to this content in Roon?

Is the album identified in Roon?

Is this content from local files, TIDAL, or Qobuz?

Description of the issue

Hi @charles_pick,

Very interesting way to use a Nucleus! I’m sorry to hear you’re running into issues with it non the less. A good next step would be to review a set of logs from the device.

If possible, can you please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader?

Including a specific date and time and track playing when the issue occurs would be helpful as well.

Thanks!
