Roon Nucleus+ problem connecting to a Lynx Hilo USB DAC

You would think. But, it doesn’t.

Hi @Yury_Kochetkov,

You could also purchase a Roon Ready/Roon Tested SPDIF bridge since the Lynx Hilo has a Coax, Optical and AES inputs and connect to it that way.

Thanks Noris. It is interesting idea. Would you please recommend Roon tested SPDIF bridge of them for best performance with Nucleus? Price not so important.

Hi @Yury_Kochetkov,

I haven’t personally tested any SPDIF bridges, but you can find a list of Roon Ready/Roon Tested devices on our Partners Matrix. Alternatively, you can also ask the general Roon Community in the #roon section of this site for their recommendations.

The Lynx Hilo works on the Rendu series.

Do there any advantages of Rendu over SPDIF bridges?

Hi @Yury_Kochetkov,

We’re not in a position to be able to comment on specific advantages for your Lynx Hilo, I would suggest reaching out to the respective manufacturers for more specific details. Thanks!

Hello @Yury_Kochetkov,
