Description of Issue

I use the router to connect to my Android computer and my Roon Nucleus.

I get messages to my iPhone Xfinity app that Nucleus is a problem.

Should I buy another Router and use the Gateway modem and Router as a switch to connect to my Nucleus and my computer?

What is the exact message?

I am going to change my rented Gateway modem/router for a Motorola modem and TP link wifi router to see if that works.

My Nucleus is attached to a Denafrips DAC via a USB cable but the Nucleus doesn’t recognize the DAC with a new iPad pro.

I don’t get it.

There are lots of people on the forum using the Xfinity router successfully, so I don’t know if that’s the problem. The exact message might tell us something.

My Roon Nucleus would not work with the USB A out to USB B in on my Denafrips PontusII DAC, so I contacted AV Specialists in Tucson. After 2 hours we discovered that using an HDMI out from the nucleus through a Tech Digital converter, which converts digital to Toslink and it worked! I’m a happy guy!
