yes it did work before and all power on and ethernet cables all lighting up

Are you still able to find the unit when you press find RoonOS devices? If you try to press the power button once, wait for the unit to turn off, unplug, wait 1 minute, plug back in, power back on, do you locate the unit then?

the unit is locatable and I’ve turned power on and off but when i try to restart the Nucleus i get the message restart error. roon server cannot be successfully restarted

I’m looking through your logs and found a number of unmanaged crashes from October 19th. Let’s try the below steps to see if they help at all.
- Create a Backup of your current Roon Database
- Stop RoonServer from running in Nucleus’s WebUI
- Navigate to your Nucleus’ Database Location
- Find the folder that says “RoonServer”
- Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old”
- Restart the RoonServer in the WebUI to generate a new Database
- On the Roon Remotes, press “Use another Roon Server” and connect to the new database
