Or, if you just want to follow Roonā€™s recommendations about separating endpoints from the core, get an RPi 4, a Flirc case, and install Ropieee. Save your money for things that do make a difference to SQ.

I am running a RPi 4 with RoPieee and two USB-connected DACsā€¦ Sometimes, when I feel that one DAC doesnā€™t sound quite right, I just switch to the other and voilĆ , problem solvedā€¦ :wink:

If you expect it to sound better and get a good nightā€™s worth of rest, I assure you itā€™ll sound just perfect in the morning!

Doesnā€™t matter what any of us think about thisā€¦ butā€¦ I love my little Pi4 in its Flirc case. Itā€™s just a network transport, and as that it does a wonderful job.
