Description Of Issue
I downloaded Roon today and started the 14 days trial.
I want to work with a streamer Bluesound Node 2i. I use my cellphone to control the streamer. I have aTidal account…
How do I operate Roon on the cellphone that control the streamer?
Have you read the Knowledge base on how to setup Roon. If not I suggest you do.
In Roon you need to add enable the Bluesound Node 2i as an audio device in the audio settings menu.
Add your Tidal details in to the services section in Settings.
Download the Roon app to your phone and connect it the Roon core machine it should search and discover it of your network is set up correctly. You then use the Roon app to select the Bluesound to Play music to.
You don’t use the Bluesound app at all it replaces it all.
Roon (or RoonServer) needs to run on a computer.
Roon is a Server/Control/Endpoint architecture.
The Server, aka Core, that is running Roon needs to be a computer (Windows/MacOS/Linus), as I mentioned.
The Control application can be run on the phone (or tablet or even 2nd computer) application and is used to control the server.
The Endpoint, in your case, the Node 2i, is the recipient of the audio stream the server sends. The control point (phone for you) only tells the server what to send to the Node 2i.

I tried to make what you sugest as I anderstand , and I have some progress but it still doesnt work as it shuld.
now i have Roon on my cell phone and I also see it on the bluesound aplication on my cellphone. it means that at times that my leptop computor work and roon is on, I have roon on the menu of the bluesound in the app in my sellphone. but if I try to operate roon from that app what I gett is a sine of a circle around a triangie (play), the circule go raound(may be like it searching sorce) and it isnt work with tidal as i whant.
on otther hand if I oparate roon diractly from the roon app in the cellphone and not from bluesound app, it does work with tidal. but i heare the music on my pc computor, were I downloud roon in first piace, and not on my stero system as it should.
Do you have an idea whts the problem ?
I also whant to aske, when it work corectly, do i have to oparate my pc computer evry time I use roon ? i hope not since I whant to use it only from my phone ?
and last question, I downloud roon aplication to my cellphone. there is another ap call Roon essential remote, may be this is the one I need ?

You have not selected the correct zone to play music to. Click on the speaker icon and select the swituc zone to play music to the device you want… You can’t use the Bluesound app to control Roon.

Can you share a screenshot of this? What model phone are you using?

You can definitely operate Roon from a phone or tablet, you can also use those devices as an endpoint. Here’s some more info.
Roon remote is the one you want.
