Did you install RoonServer and Roon under the same MacOS user account on this machine?
Please try the following:
Open Activity Monitor from Applications → Utilities and see if there are Roon-related processes still running in the background. If so, what happens if you terminate them? Does Roon launch properly on the next attempt?
Navigate to your Mac’s .tmp folder (Finder → Go to Folder → /tmp) and clear any .lck file you see associated with Roon. You likely won’t see one, but it’s worth trying.
Let us know if this helps and we’ll proceed from there.
Just checking in on this. Were you able to confirm whether Roon Server and Roon were installed under the same macOS user account on that Mac, and did you get a chance to look in Activity Monitor for any Roon-related background processes or clear any Roon lock file from /tmp? If you tried those steps, let us know what happened when you terminated the processes or relaunched Roon, and we can take it from there.
