MacBook Pro 15” 2016 With Mcintosh c2700 running roon with tidal over the MacBook.

Networking Gear & Setup Details

Wifi with fibre optical giving 800kbps

Connected Audio Devices

USB with an apple adapter to convert usb c to regular. High speed cable used.

Number of Tracks in Library

Streaming through roon and tidal.

Sample rate not playing over 44khz

What DAC is connected to the MacBook? Likewise, what is the sample rate of the source material?

If you’re connecting to a Mac, make sure you use CoreAudio.

If you go to audio midi settings on the Applications/Utilities what do you get for your dac?

do you have exclusive in roon (and do not use osx for system output)
