Describe the issue

Roon on MacOS. Roon was unable to access library, asked to restore. Restore didn't work, so I followed instructions to re label server and download Roon again. Did so, but only get the pulsing Roon symbol.

Describe your network setup

MacOS intel core i6. Over wifi, not hard wired. Using eero as mesh.

Nothing to do with this, Jay?

Hi @Jay_Kleckner,

Diagnostics indicate that while Roon’s GUI has pinged our servers, the RoonServer instance beneath hasn’t had network access in over 24 hours.

It looks like you’ve already followed the process to rename your RoonServer folder and reinstall but are still experiencing problems. The most common culprit in these scenarios is Sequoia MacOS itself, which might have severed the loopback connection between Roon and the newly installed RoonServer instance.

If you haven’t already, verify that Roon has local network access in your System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network page.

Thanks, firewall is, and has been off.
