All of the sudden playback stopped (after months in this setup) and now it can not find the server and is constant waiting for server mode. Please advise. Ty

Wifi mesh system with plenty of bandwidth. Again it was working fine until a couple of days ago. Rest of house and in fact Tidal are all working fine.
Can you confirm RoonServer.exe is running on your Lenovo? Roon updated its approach to the application and has separated Roon Server (RoonServer.exe) from the Roon user interface (Roon.exe) starting with Build 1353.
Do you have firewall exceptions on the Lenovo you are using for Roon Server to allow roon.exe, raatserver.exe, and roonappliance.exe? Also, is this Lenovo’s Windows Network setting set to “Private”? Microsoft’s recent updates sometimes causes this to be set to “Public”, but Roon requires it to be on Private.
I turned off the firewalls. As far as confirming if RoonServer.exe is running, how do I do that? For context has be operating in it’s current configuration for months, it stopped mid playback in the middle of a song. Now this is where I am at. TY!
Look at the right hand side of the Taskbar. Programs that are running in the background are shown there (you may have to click on the ^ symbol to show the complete list):
If Roon Server is not running, then look for the Roon Server shortcut on your Desktop and double-click it.
Thank you Geoff! I will try this when I get home from work. I am a little confused though. I double click on the shortcut every time I use Roon? I do not ever remember seeing the “RoonServer” icon. Only the Roon icon?
