Roon playlist does not play in sequential order after the playlist is sorted differently. I cannot figure out howe to play music in sequential order after I sort, e.g. by release date.

Great question! Once you’ve sorted your playlist the way you want (e.g. by release date), please select all the tracks in that playlist (Ctrl+A on Windows or Cmd+A, on a Mac). At the top left, click on the ellipsis (three dot button) and select Queue. This will add the tracks in your Queue in the order they were sorted:

You can right click on the track that you want to be your starting point, hold down Shift on your keyboard and click on the last track you want selected. Once you have the correct selection, follow the steps above and you should be all set
