Roon playlists out of sync

I am facing a problem with my local Roon playlists after splitting up my shared music folder on my NAS.

The old path was /NAS/Music

Because of the data volume in the Music folder I had to split the folder like this:
/NAS/Music/#-M
/NAS/Music/N-Z

So my watched folder in Roon->Settings->Storage is still /NAS/Music, which is correct because I want to have all music included in the Music folder available for Roon.

The only problem is now, that the playlists did not recognized that files where moved to another folder within the same watched folder (which is “Music”). How can I make the playlists re-sync?

Hi @Arne,

Where are these playlists from? Were they created in Roon?

Can you share a screenshot of Settings > Library > Clean Up Library (note that you don’t need to run this process, we just want to see the numbers listed here)?

Hi Dylan

thanks for the fast reply.
It seems that the problem solved itself. My library has been doing a complete re-sync (automatically) for 5 hours. During the scan process all playlists where defunctioned, but now everything is working again. What I also recognized is, that during the complete scan process all albums had the time field “Added” with the current day. After the scan was finished, the original “added” timestamps where available again.

And yes, I had the problem with Roon playlists created in Roon.

So for the moment everything seems to be fine again. The topic can be closed.
