Roon "Quit Unexpectedly" After Sleep Initiates

iMac 2019 27 inch 5K

Ventura 13.2.1

This issue has been raised before, however as this is a great irritation and a mystery to me thought I might raise the issue again. Previously it was suggested to use Amphetamine as a work around but considering this is the only application that ever crashes when Sleep Initiates then I would think the Developers must be able to find the cause and remedy the situation!, If not perhaps someone could explain to me in plain English why not?. If it cannot be rectified then perhaps I should start to use Audirvana 3.5 or Plex which incidently none of which show this behaviour!. Roon is great software and it is a shame this is letting it down.

@Terry_Fell1, to receive appropriate help, it would be really helpful if you could complete the template provided below. Please be sure to include details of your core, network, storage location of your media files, and any messages displayed by Roon. Thank you.

Thank you for your response, However I may have resolved the problem. Let me explain the reason, which may help other forum members in the future!.

Last year I purchased a MacMini M1 to set up a server. The only problem was for some reason the Wi-Fi signal is poor everywhere apart from the room the router was situated. In order to get a good to excellent signal across my property I purchased a TP Link Deco Mesh system, Connected to the router then connected the MacMini to the TP Link and set up my own network to use for the server a Matrix Audio Elements I DAC and other devices that only myself use. Recently I decided that I did not really need a server so set Roon up on my iMac and MacBook and switch between the two when required and sold the MacMini on. I kept using the TP link system since but did not think it would be the cause of the problem but earlier today logged into my normal router from both machines, And that’s what flagged up the probable cause of the problem so to speak. A lesson here for me and others maybe!. Thanks.
