I too am having the same problem. I had been listening to vinyl for a couple of months, and last week switched back to ROON with no problem. Then three days ago tried ROON again- played 3 songs then quit. I have not been able to get it going since then. Windows 10 HP Envoy I3 laptop via USB to Schiit Yggdrasil dac. Music stored on separate hdd, approx 8k lps.

Just to verify, was it just that playback stopped or are remotes no longer able to connect to the Core machine either?
Have you tried rebooting your Core machine? Is there any change after doing so?
