Roon quitting on launch

Hi,

iMac Pro 10.15.1
Latest Roon update

Ethernet direct from router

Moon 100D - optical
Moon 230HAD - usb
Project prebox s2 - usb

App quits on launching

No other apps running
Roon reinstalled
Restart/connections tested
Router working fine

Help/suggestions much appreciated, thank you

Trawling through the support, found this fix, which (so far) works

Just in case anyone suffers from the same issues

Thanks, happy listening to all

  • Make a Backup of your current Roon Database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Restart/Reinstall the Roon App to generate a new Roon folder
  • Verify if the fresh database works for a day or two
  • Restore from the database backup you created
