What is up with Roon Radio (my library + Tidal)? It repeats songs over and over within an hour period of time, all from Tidal library. For example, yesterday I picked an Artist and selected Roon Radio. It played 15 songs and then repeated most of them. It never used to do this. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Same. However, if I skip through a few tracks, it starts playing new ones.
Qobuz + Tidal.

Iâve noted the same with just Qobuz and local files.

Yes, experienced this last night. If it doesnât select the same songs it will select the same artists for another track. Skipping songs as they are selected for choice does seem to kick it out of this behaviour for a while.

Same here with Tidal. I started a hit single (Freya Ridings - Castles) in Tidal, the songs played next are in the same playing order every single time, day after day, if I start from the same song mentioned above.

me too , it will repeat the same cycle of songs over and over, might be a few hours between repeats but with millions of songs in a genre why repeat at all?

If this was a new issue I would have something more to say then: âShrug, been happening for years.â
Whatâs the next old thing to be brought up?
- Favor one streaming service over another?
- Play highest resolution available?
- Block a musician from ever playing?
- Block a genre from ever playing on Radio?
- Being able to see song credits from the Now Playing screen on a mobile remote?
At least every time I go to the Home screen I am reminded of my name in a large font with a large blank space below it. This has been extremely helpful and streamlined my experience versus any of the features listed above.

I have noticed this recently and this is a new issue. It is happening all the time. I am seeing about 20 ânewâ songs when I restart the radio with a new artist/song and then after that the list just repeats itself.
Has Roon responded to this topic?
Is Roon looking for a solution to this BUG?
Please fix this, as I said, this was not happening a few months ago.

Any updates on this issue? Itâs started happening to me constantly in the last month. My library is local NAS + Tidal.
Not sure exactly when it started. I usually queue up a few albums first and let the radio take over from there. I used to be amazed at the variety of tracks chosen by the algorithm. Iâd find all kinds of interesting things I wasnât aware of. But recently the tracks chosen seem to be the same tracks and they repeat after 10 tracks or so.

I am noticing a deterioration as well. I hadnât used radio for any length of time in a while, probably for several releases. Mostly I remember getting a stream for a couple of hours before repetitions (depending on seed genre). Just now I am seeing repetitions after about 30 mins. Seed was âWorld on Wheelsâ by Hattie Briggs. A lot of contemporary female singer/songwriters to choose from I would have thought.

Are there any fixes, even temporary, for this repetition issue? Is this a user-side problem that can be addressed with something like a database reset or is this a Roon-side problem? This is an important feature for a lot of us and it would be great to know if thereâs any progress.

Why is roon radio not picking up? At the end of Qobuz or library items nothing happens and the Roon radio option is toggled on�
Mine is still more like a playlist (starts off with the same songs, in the same order) and the repeating persists.

It is indeed the same again it keeps repeating itself after 15 to 20 songs.
I was apparently too early with my conclusionđĄ
Itâs getting worse for me⌠now it starts repeating after just 6 songs. RR is one of my favourite features of Roon.
