Here’s another thread that I started 2 years ago about this same problem. “Valence” isn’t as smart as Roon thinks it is. Roon Radio is often non-stop repeats of either: The same artists; the same albums; or the same songs. In situations where there should be thousands upon thousands of possible choices for songs that fit the users’ chose “station”, Roon Radio often only spits out a few dozen songs (or less!) before it starts repeating the same artists. And when it repeats artists, it often only plays songs from a single album, even if that artist has 10+ albums in their discography. It’s maddening.
After a 2 year hiatus from Roon, I’m back, and I’m not yet convinced that Roon Radio is any better than it was in late 2020.
