Hey @m.morandin,

Thanks for taking the time to write in, and welcome to the community!

A good test would be to temporarily bypass your current network setup, and get a direct ethernet connection from your router to both your Mac running Roon Server, as well as the Evo 150.

In this setup, if you still run into issues, can you please navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network , and make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.

Thank you!

Hi Benjamin, Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I’ve tried a direct ethernet connection to both my Mac and the Evo 150 - to no avail. I’ve also made sure that Roon is allowed in my settings under Privacy & Security > Local Network. Unfortunately, that doesn’t fix the problem either. My Roon Server stopped seeing my Evo 150 after the last update. Before that my Evo showed up as a Roon-ready device both on my laptop and on my iMac. Downgrading from the latest Roon version to Roon legacy 1.8 fixes the issue but obviously doesn’t allow for future updates.

Hi @m.morandin,
Are you able to play to the Evo from other apps running on the same Mac? Is the Evo showing up in your router settings?

Hi Daniel, yes, I’m able to play to the Evo from other apps. I’ve checked Qobuz, Tidal, Apple Music and the Evo’s StreamMagic app. All work flawlessly. Roon 1.8 (legacy) also works correctly. But as soon as I update to Roon 2.x I loose connection to the Evo.

Hey @m.morandin,

Just to confirm - are you using two separate machines to run Roon 2.0, and Roon 1.8?

Could you please reproduce the issue, and then use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader?

Thank you!

Hi Benjamin, Yes, I’m using two separate machines to run Roon 1.8 (iMac) and 2.0 (MacBook Pro). Downgrading from Roon 2.0 to 1.8 on my iMac solved the problem and re-established a connection to my EVO 150. Roon 2.0 on my laptop stubbornly refuses to find any Roon-ready devices on the network. If I downgrade the version on my MacBook Pro to Roon 1.8, my EVO 150 pops up immediately as a device. I’ve just installed Roon 2.0 on my iMac without deleting Roon 1.8 (i.e. I kept both versions as separate apps). Now Roon 2.0 is able to find my EVO 150 again on the iMac. I’ve just done the same thing on my Macbook. Same thing. Installing Roon 1.8 first and then Roon 2.0 as separate app alongside Roon 1.8 fixes the problem.

I’m having the same problem, my DAC/streamer disappeared form zones a couple of days ago and I can’t use Roon at all. Qobuz is working fine from the same computer and to the same equipment. Any advice or fix coming?
